Technology Advisory Council

Okay Team: Time to Committ!!!
What are you presenting in June? Applications due on Friday April 5th. Here are the stats:
Payment is curriculum rate at $28.29/hour (Licensed rate - What about Carol and Deann - I'll check on that!?)

There are four sessions - each is 90 minutes
You could present one topic multiple times or up to four different topics (who is crazy enough to do that?)

If you present the same topic more than once you get paid for 4 hours of prep (once) and 1.5 for each time you present it.

If you present different topics then you are paid the prep and presentation time for each topic. (Clear as mud? Send me your questions)

Lunch is included for presenters. The four sessions are (1) 8:15 (2) 9:55 (3) 12:15 (4)1:55 (lunch is at 11:25).

Lunch will be a Tom Hewitt rendition of the teacher perspective of "Smarty Pants." Be prepared to laugh! He will be great!!!

For your application: Send the following information to me, Carol Roberts and John Weeks at Curriculum:

Okay, I need a partner. I don't want to face it by myself (I think you call that insecure). I want to do one maybe two sessions using the multimedia kit idea that Hall showed us. It doesn't matter to me whether it's using Power Point or Movie Maker, but it seems to me that the consensus was that Movie Maker had problems with importing the video part. What about a spin like 1,2,3 Punch, Show Your Students How to Knock Those Speeches out with Power Point? Or, Power Point: Still Alive and Kicking in a Powerfully New Way? Okay, I never claimed brilliance, just willing to put it out there. HELP! Anyone.

I like it!!! Let's see if you get any takers!! Doing things in twos helps the time go by faster.
